Amazing group of people hard to come by

It's been just two weeks since I finished taking the TESL course at the University of Windsor to prepare myself for teaching english as a second language. I took the course initially to gain confidence as a teacher and prepare myself for the difference in culture. I found that it was certainly not the sole purpose for taking it, and I most definitly took alot more away from the course than I anticipated. I met some really incredibly inspiring people of all ages with very similar interests in life. I took away from it a much more open mind, so much more confidence and most importantly amazing friendships with some very talented people. I never knew how close a group of people could become in such a short period of time until now. All of the people from the course got together last night for what I must say was a really SOLID dinner party hosted by Anne Bastien. Wow! so much delish food...stellar live acoustic jam sesh care of Chris and his band and James. In light of my trip in the next 5 days to S. Korea it was definitly a great Canadian send off. I have so much to bring with me over seas that I learned from not only the duration of the course and all of the people I met, but also the experience of the party last night! I hope that everyone else can say the same... that so much was taken from last night...and not just a hangover...haha...and truly how lucky a group we are. I wish them all the best of luck and I look forward to keeping in touch with everyone. Cheers..........
